To Activate or De-activate 'Cut Angles detail'
1 From the Tools menu, choose Options and then choose General.
2 Place a Tick in the Cut angles detail box to activate the Display Of Cut Angles Detail.
3 Remove the Tick in the Cut angles detail box to de-activate the Display of Cut Angles Detail.
To Activate or De-activate 'Show Hints'
1 From the Tools menu, choose Options and then choose General.
2 Place a Tick in the Show Hints box to activate the Display of On Screen Hover Help Hints.
3 Remove the Tick in the Show Hints box to de-activate the Display of On Screen Hover Help Hints.
To Activate or De-activate 'Auto labeling of pieces input'
1. From the Tools menu, choose Options and then choose General.
2. Place a Tick in the Auto labeling of pieces input box to activate the Automatic labeling of pieces input. eg L01, L02, L03 etc .
3. Remove the Tick in the Auto labeling of pieces input box to de-activate the Automatic labeling of pieces input. This enables the user to input their own specific label references. eg Bar1, Bar2, Bar3 etc.
To Specify the 'Seperator character for using in CSV format files (input data files)
1. From the Tools menu, choose Options and then choose General.
2. Click the Seperator character for using in CSV format files (input data files) tab and select the Seperator characteryou want.
Optimumcut-1D reads and writes its input data in CSV format files (Comma Separated Value).This format can be read and written ( using "save as ..." ) from MS Excel and other spreadsheet programs .
The files must be structured as shown in next fig. to allow Optimumcut-1D to read data from it:
The 'words & seperator characters' inside the Boxes are needed to allow the program to know the kind of data in the next block. Please ensure that these 'words & seperator characters' are used in the input display.
The data blocks can be put in any sequence, and only the pieces block is required for any data file.
