To 'Open' a pre-loaded "Metric Millimetre Unit" example cutting file
1. From the Tools menu, choose Options and then chooseGeneral.
2. Click the Seperator character for using in CSV format files (input data files) tab and select the Seperator character as shown.
Optimumcut-1D reads and writes its input data in CSV format files (Comma Separated Value).This format can be read and written ( using "save as ..." ) from MS Excel and other spreadsheet programs .
3. When you have typed in the aforementioned parameter Click the OK Button.
4. From the Tools menu, choose Units and then chooseOthers.
5. To set Optimumcut-1D to function using Metric Units Type in the following parameters.
6. When you have typed in the aforementioned parameters Click the OK Button.
7. From the Tools menu, choose Options and then chooseGeneral.
8. Place a Tick in the Cut angles detail box to activate the Display Of Cut Angles Detail. (If a tick already exists in the box please leave the tick in the box and Click the OK Button.
9. If you had to place a tick in the box you will be prompted "To enable changes restart the program". Exit Optimumcut-1D & Re-start your program.
10. From theFile menu, choose Open and then choose Browse.

Example Large Cutting File =
C:\Program File\Optimumcut\Optimumcut-1D\Example Files\Metric\Large Project.csv

11. Upon Loading of an example Cutting File press the Optimize Button.
12. Users can then use any of the Commands described in the Reports section of this help file.
